Help Lupe & Amarissa Acosta on Their Road to Recovery
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, our family’s world was turned upside down when our beloved sister Lupe Acosta and her 14-year-old daughter Amarissa Acosta were involved in a serious car accident. Both were badly injured and are now facing a long road to recovery.
Lupe suffered multiple injuries, including broken wrists, deep cuts requiring stitches, numerous bruises, glass wounds, and a concussion with symptoms still lingering. Her arms are currently wrapped and immobile, leaving her unable to care for herself or her family.
At the same time, her youngest daughter Amarissa was rushed by ambulance to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she underwent leg surgery to repair a broken femur. Doctors had to insert a metal rod to stabilize her leg. She remains separated from her mom as she recovers in the hospital.
This unexpected tragedy has placed a tremendous emotional and financial burden on the Acosta family. Lupe’s husband, Art Acosta, and her children Aiza and Devonne, along with the extended families, are doing everything they can to support both Lupe and Amarissa through this painful time.
We are asking for your kindness, prayers, and any financial help you can offer to assist with:
- Medical expenses and hospital bills
- Rehabilitation and recovery costs
- Household and family support while Lupe is unable to work
No donation is too small—every bit helps and means the world to this loving family as they focus on healing. If you’re unable to donate, we humbly ask that you keep Lupe and Amarissa in your thoughts and prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, generosity, and continued support. ❤️
With gratitude,
The Whole Family
