Hi, my name is Julie, and I’m raising funds for my dog, Luna, who means absolutely everything to me.

Luna is a sweet, loving girl who has always been full of life—running, playing and filling the house with her joyful spirit. In September, everything changed. She began limping and struggling to walk, and over time her condition continued to worsen despite multiple vet visits.

After months of exams, X-rays, and treatments, we learned that Luna has suffered a serious knee injury, including a torn cruciate ligament, with damage now affecting both of her back legs. This injury causes constant pain and instability, making even simple things like standing, walking, or going outside extremely difficult for her.

During these months, Luna has been on ongoing medications to manage her pain and inflammation. Unfortunately, the prolonged use of these medications has now begun to affect her health in other ways. Her veterinarians have told us that her liver levels are significantly low, adding another layer of concern and urgency to getting her the proper treatment she truly needs.

The recommended solution is orthopedic surgery, which is the best chance for Luna to stabilize her knees, reduce her pain, and prevent further damage. Without surgery, her condition will continue to deteriorate and lead to severe arthritis and long-term suffering at such a young age.

The cost of surgery, continued imaging, medications, and recovery care has become overwhelming, and it’s more than I can manage on my own.
