French bulldog Luna Needs Your Help: A Plea for My Beloved Frenchie
My heart is breaking for my precious Luna, a one-year-old French Bulldog who recently woke up all of a sudden paralyzed in her hind legs. The shock and fear were overwhelming. I rushed her to the vet, where she underwent a critical surgery that cost over $15,000.
Luna is a fighter. The surgery was successful, but the journey to recovery is long and expensive. Every bit helps, thank you, and God bless you. May the Lord return it to you 10,000 times over.
She requires intensive physical therapy and special medications, each costing múltiple thousands of dollars. Everything I do to help Luna heal adds up quickly.
I adopted Luna not long after losing my previous Frenchie Coco, who passed away of a brain tumor with epilepsy not too long ago, which also cost over $35,000 and now this, back to back and it keeps coming.
This Frenchie was rescued from a life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill and saved her and have only had her 4 months and now this.
Luna's spirit is remarkable. Despite her difficult past, she radiates joy and love as you can see by her eyes.
Now, facing this unexpected hardship, her positive attitude shines brighter than ever. She's always in a good mood no matter how bad things are, and she never barks, which is odd for a Frenchie, even though I know she can because she has before, just doesn't do it all the time like other dogs do. She's a great dog and she deserves to walk again. Please help!
I'm not asking for a handout. I've already made significant financial payments to give Luna the surgery she desperately needed and also paid for medication but it’s overwhelming amd hard to do. But if each one of you put your hands where your heart is we can help her together and may God bless you always for it.
However, the ongoing costs of rehabilitation and medication are overwhelming.
This is where you, fellow animal lovers, come in.
If you find it in your heart to help Luna on her road to recovery, any contribution would be deeply appreciated. Every dollar can make a difference in Luna's life.
Here's how you can help:
