Help Luna Walk Again After Beating Cancer!

Meet Luna, a brave and beautiful 3-year-old Bernedoodle with the biggest heart and the strongest spirit.

Last November, Luna was diagnosed with sinonasal carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of nasal cancer. We spent over $10,000 just to get her diagnosed — and then came a miracle. She was accepted into a clinical trial at Colorado State University’s Flint Animal Cancer Center (FACC), which covered the cost of her radiation treatment. That trial is helping develop new treatments not just for pets — but potentially for humans, too.

Today, Luna is cancer-free — but her journey hasn’t been easy.

She still has chronic nosebleeds, nasal discharge, and trouble breathing due to the damage from the tumor and treatment. Her vet says this is normal and expected, but it’s taken her time to get back to feeling like herself.

So when we finally saw her playing joyfully at the dog park, like the goofy, happy pup we know and love — it felt like we could finally breathe again too.

And then, heartbreak hit again.

That same day, Luna came home limping. Imaging confirmed she had completely torn her ACL. The vet said that without surgery, she’ll live in pain and may never walk normally again. Even worse — her other ACL is already inflamed, and there’s a 50% chance it will tear within the year. The estimated cost? Another $10,000 or more.

After everything Luna has been through — fighting cancer, enduring radiation, and still dealing with nosebleeds and breathing issues — we just want to give her the chance to run, play, and live pain-free.

We’re now trying to raise $5,300 to cover the cost of her ACL surgery so she can walk again without pain.
