Hi everyone,

My family and I are heartbroken. Our sweet cat Luna has suddenly gone blind. The vet told us that her retinas have detached, and it could be caused by something serious like high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, or even cancer. But we won't know for sure what caused this without further testing, and the costs are way more than what we can handle right now.

The initial checkup alone was very expensive for us and stretched us thin, and the next steps such as bloodwork, exams, treatment, will cost over $3,500. We are doing everything we can, but we just cannot afford it on our own. Before this she was such a happy, playful, silly cat who loved to chase toys and cuddle with her best friend, Aspen. Now she's scared and confused and it is heartbreaking to watch. My mom and I are devastated and want to give her a chance to get better and find out what truly is the cause of her going blind.
