Help Save Luna: Urgent Care for a Brave Kitty

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my close friend and her beloved cat, Luna, who is currently fighting for her life.

Luna suddenly stopped eating about a 11 days ago. Her first vet took immediate action and hospitalized her, administering electrolytes, anti-nausea, and antacid medications. Despite extensive testing—including blood work, X-rays, and an ultrasound—everything came back inconclusive. After exhausting their resources and options, the vet admitted they were out of their depth and recommended transferring Luna to an animal hospital for specialized care.

At the second clinic, Luna has been receiving tube feeding, more anti-nausea medications, and undergoing additional diagnostics. The team there discovered a buildup of fluid at the bottom of her intestine, which causes her pain when pressed. While pancreatitis is suspected, it doesn't always show on ultrasounds, so further testing is ongoing.

Despite the lack of appetite, Luna is still alert and responsive. She's fighting, and we want to give her every chance to recover.

Here’s where we stand financially:

$3,400 has already been paid for hospitalization, tests, and medications

An estimated $3,000–$4,000 more is expected for continued treatment, monitoring, and possible long-term care

Any contribution you can make will go directly toward helping Luna get the care she desperately needs. If we raise more than needed, any extra funds will be donated to the SPCA to help other animals in need.
