Help Luna Petunia Get the Medical Care She Needs

Hello all! My name is Tramaine H and I’m the proud mom of a Pittie Mix named Luna Petunia! Luna was the runt of her litter and one of the last to find a furever home. I got her at about 8 weeks old and she’s been by my side through everything! She’s never had the best of health, but we’ve managed to push through with specialty diets and alot of treats.
June 2024 I let her out to potty and she got curious and left the yard. She was hit by a car and ran further from home. I searched everywhere for her and called animal control everyday hoping for some type of news. They assumed that she was deceased because so much time had passed. But she wasn’t!! She was gone a total of 18 days. 18 DAYS!! She was found by young man who was cutting the grass at the High School here in town and posted her on his Snapchat. My cousin happened to be friends with him on Snapchat and quickly told me what she saw and shared his post with me . I can’t tell you how I bombarded him with Snapchat messages and trying to call him lol Without his very specific instructions, I would’ve never found my baby. Since then, she’s gotten even worse as far as eating goes. She’ll nearly starve herself before touching food. I thought she was being a diva at first and she just wanted table food, but it turned out there is a deeper issue going on.
The docs at the Vet first told me that she had a fever, she was anemic and possibly had a UTI. She was given antibiotics and Hills canned food and we left. She was fine for a few days, then slowly stopped eating again. Last night (12/15/25) she fainted and hit her head on my coffee table. I’ve never been so scared. I took her back to the same vet where they ran more tests and everything came out fine. The Docs both agreed they need to do higher end testing and that led me to you all.
I am a single person working hard to make ends meet. Due to her medical bills stacking up, I realize I may need help. Who knows how many more things they have to do to find out what’s the real issue. The higher end testing (starting with an Ultrasound) begins at $350 and I’ve already spent $890 via care credit. I need help to pay off that bill and also afford an ultrasound for My Luna Petunia. I know it’s the Holiday season and I may be asking a lot, but please, if you don’t mind spreading a little more Christmas Cheer to Luna and I. We would really appreciate it! Thank you!
