“Help Luna Heal” After a Traumatic Accident

Hi everyone,

My name is Lynda, and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart.

Just a few days ago, my nephew's family's sweet dog Luna was unexpectedly hit by a truck near their home.

It all happened so fast, and since that moment, their world has been turned upside down.

Luna isn’t just “a dog,” she is their family, and a little boy's best friend!

Luna was rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital where she underwent immediate surgery for serious trauma to her left front shoulder. Thankfully, she didn’t suffer any broken bones, but the impact caused extensive muscle and nerve damage that required critical surgical intervention. The cost (so far) for her emergency care and treatment is up to $5,000, which includes surgery, post-op care, and medications.

She’s currently resting, healing slowly, and showing incredible bravery every step of the way—even wagging her tail through the pain.
