Please pray for our baby. Earlier tonight our son walked Luna like we always do. They encountered 2 pitbulls off leash, one of which is highly reactive like her. They ran up on Luna and started attacking her and then attacked their owner.

We take extra precautions since she’s reactive to avoid this type of situation but other people sometimes don’t. Now our baby is in the hospital with wounds and is in a lot of pain. She lost part of her ear and is hurt in a bunch of other places including her spine, her left side and her vulva.

They have to put her under sedation which can be quite dangerous for dogs and can’t be reversed if something goes wrong. We could lose her and our hearts are broken at the mere thought.

Unfortunately, Joe and I don’t have the means to pay for this type of emergency and it pains us to ask for help but Luna is the best dog and we can’t live without her.
