Hello everyone, my name is Noelani, and I’m fundraising for my sweet 5-year-old dog, Luna.

About a month ago, Luna injured her front paw and was seen by a vet, where she was given pain medication. Sadly, the medication only helped temporarily and did not fix the underlying issue. We were told she needs X-rays and ultrasound imaging to determine the cause of her injury. The cost of imaging is $900- $1,500, treatment not included, which my family and I have not been able to afford due to my mom’s recent surgery medical expenses.

Recently, Luna hurt her other front paw from putting too much pressure on it while trying to avoid using the injured one. Now, she can barely walk for more than a minute before she has to lie down because of the pain. It’s heartbreaking to see, especially because she’s normally such a playful, happy dog. Her favorite thing in the world is going on walks and being outside, and right now she can’t do any of that.

We are asking for help to cover the cost of her imaging and medical care so we can get her properly diagnosed and treated. Anything truly helps — even just sharing this means so much to us. We never ask for help in situations like these, but it has been extremely saddening to see my precious Luna suffer.
