Hello, my name is KC. This is Luna’s (My fur baby) story.
On September 1, my daughter FaceTimed me while I was at work saying “mommy why is Luna’s eyes yellow”. My mom immediately thought something was wrong and I told her to bring her to Tropicana Animal Hospital. They performed an X-ray and bloodwork. Once I got there they notified me that they found stones in her gallbladder and elevated liver enzymes. They were not able to perform the surgery because she needed to be seen and taken to a specialty emergency & critical hospital. I then drove her all the way to the emergency clinic 11pm at night hoping to get some answers. Because Luna’s condition is so critical they need special diagnostic testing, bloodwork, IV, and different medications to be stabilized for days before going into surgery.
My Luna, she gave me life and filled the missing pieces when my dad passed away. Been there since my daughter was born. She knew she was the princess in the house with the crazy personality she had. She would always sit by you and made sure you’d play with her and her favorite squeaky toys. She is just so full of life and still is no matter how sick she is. She’s our strong fur baby and will continue to fight what she is going through. She needs your help, support, and most of all your prayers. All donates will go towards the hospital bills. Anything helps. Please help us bring our fur baby home.
