Help Luna Get Lifesaving Surgery

Luna has been a beloved member of our family for nine years. She’s a sweet, blonde mini dachshund who brings us endless joy and comfort. Luna has always been happiest when surrounded by people, and her gentle nature has made her a constant source of happiness for everyone who knows her. After recently losing her life partner, Lola, to a spinal issue, our family is heartbroken at the thought of facing another loss so soon.


Recently, Luna began refusing food, and we initially thought it was a dental problem. After several vet visits, we learned she was suffering from pancreatitis. While she managed to recover from that, she soon developed new symptoms and started having trouble going to the bathroom. Further tests revealed she has an obstruction that can’t be seen clearly on ultrasound, and now she urgently needs surgery to remove it and check for any further complications like necrosis or perforation. Without this surgery, her prognosis is not good.


The funds raised will go directly toward Luna’s surgery and any necessary aftercare, including medications and follow-up visits. Luna means the world to us, and we want to give her the best chance at recovery. We have so many cherished memories with her, especially trips to the dog park with her best friend Lola and our mom’s chihuahuas. We’re grateful for any support to help Luna get the care she needs and keep our family whole.
