It is with a heavy heart that I must say Luna did not make it.

I can’t believe that she is no longer around, it’s been hard to grasp. Coming home without her was something I never wished for. The house is lonely and quite , you could always hear her walking around on the hardwood floor. Called her ticky because of it. She was my best friend, always there and always by my side.

this has been extremely hard to deal with. The way she progressed was so fast and un controllable. We did everything that we could to help her and figure out what was going on.

The er vet believes it was neurological issues, blood clot, stroke or extreme swelling. We don’t truly know what happened. We just know we lost a best friend , a loving animal , the prettiest girl.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who shared and donated. We will be using the funds to help cover the last two we visits and the final costs.

My dog Luna, my best friend, became very ill very suddenly. She started tilting her head and now she can’t walk. We rushed her to the vet, and after running bloodwork, we found out she has low white blood cells, high red blood cells, and is anemic. The vet suspects an infection but isn’t sure what’s going on, so they referred us to a specialist for a CT scan. I could barely afford the vet bill and was denied pet credit, so I can’t afford the specialist test and care, but Luna truly needs it.

The funds from this fundraiser will help us get Luna to a specialist for a CT scan and ongoing care. If she makes it through this, she’ll need medication for a while after. Luna is only five years old and has always been a happy, loving, and energetic dog who loves to play, cuddle, and give kisses. We’re very hopeful she can pull through with the right help, but right now, we’re not sure if she’ll respond to the current medication. We’re praying and hoping we can get to the root of this and get her the help she needs.
