Hi, my name is Whitney, and I’m fundraising to help cover medical expenses for my sweet girl, Luna.

Luna is a 2-year-old bundle of joy with the wiggliest butt and the biggest heart. She absolutely lights up every room she enters and brings a smile to everyone she meets—especially kids! If you’ve ever met Luna, you know exactly what I mean. She’s the happiest pup I’ve ever known and truly the center of my world.

Unfortunately, Luna has been sick for the past 9 weeks. She’s been struggling with chronic diarrhea, occasional vomiting, loss of appetite, and very low energy. After numerous vet visits, medications, supplements, and diet changes, we’re now working with specialists following an emergency visit to a specialty hospital in San Marcos.

Right now, the only thing we know for sure is that Luna has proteinuria—a condition where her body isn’t properly processing or absorbing protein, which points to a deeper, underlying issue. We still have a long road ahead with more testing and treatment needed to uncover the root cause and try to find a treatment plan and diet that works.

So far, her medical costs have reached $7,000, and that doesn’t include the upcoming tests scheduled for next week or the biopsies of her intestines planned for the week after. The expenses continue to grow, but I’m doing everything I can to get my girl back to her happy, healthy self.

It breaks my heart to see her like this, but I’m holding onto hope and praying for answers. Every little bit helps—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping Luna in your thoughts and prayers ❤️
