I never thought I’d be making a post like this.

Last year, we lost our sweet Gandalf to cancer after doing everything we possibly could to save him. It broke us — emotionally and financially — but he was family, and we would have done it all over again for him.

Now our young kitten Stella Luna is fighting for her life.

She’s been having fevers and neurological episodes, and vets are now suspecting neurological complications related to Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). There is treatment available, and there is hope — but it’s expensive and time-sensitive.

We are close to maxing out every credit option we have. I hate asking for help. Truly. But Stella Luna is still eating, still cuddling, still trusting us to fix this. She deserves a chance.

Frodo already lost his brother. Watching him bond with Luna helped heal all of us. I can’t imagine him losing another sibling.
