Hello my name is Micah, I am attempting to raise money for my cat Luna. She is 2 years old and has been diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). If you don’t know what FIP is it is a a severe and often fatal viral disease in cats caused by a mutated feline coronavirus. Until recently it was incurable. There is now a treatment available but it is extremely costly. She has to be on the medicine for at least 3 months and it costs roughly $150 a month. Not only that but as her weight increases so does her dosage and she will need blood tests along the way to see if the drug is working. On top of having FIP she has dental issues which the vet recommended tooth extraction. This will cost upwards of $500 depending on the amount of and specific teeth removed. In total with treatment of her FIP and dental it is looking to cost me upwards of $1000.
