Hello, we’re Alex and Josh, and we’re raising funds for our sweet dog Luna — a gentle silky terrier we adopted after she was rescued from a puppy mill.

Luna came to us with an inguinal hernia that was repaired during her spay, but unfortunately, it returned during the healing process. Thankfully, she’s not in pain right now, but her vet has advised that it should be repaired again to avoid the risk of it becoming an emergency.

After a lot of prayer and reflection, we feel it’s time to move forward with the surgery. Alex isn’t currently working, which allows him to be home with Luna during her recovery. He recently finished graduate school and is actively seeking employment. While Josh is working, the cost of surgery is more than we can fully manage on our own.

We're sharing Luna’s story with hope and faith — that those who care about animals and believe in second chances might want to help her stay safe and healthy. Every bit helps, and every share is deeply appreciated.
