Help Lulu through her surgery
Ignacia Lidvina Piñerúa, quien cariñosamente llamamos “Lulu”, es Venezolana de 98 años de edad, siempre cuidando de su salud, activa, muy lúcida y velando por el bienestar de nosotros su familia y seres queridos. Aún así, en esta oportunidad ella necesita de nuestra ayuda.
Actualmente presenta un Carcinoma Epidermoide de 5cm aproximadamente, del lado izquierdo del cuello debajo y detrás de la oreja muy cerca de la cervical, el cual debe ser tratado lo más pronto posible debido al alto riesgo que representa de seguir creciendo en una persona de su edad.
Con el diagnóstico de la biopsia, debido al tamaño de la lesión, se debe realizar una incisión oncológica amplia y un procedimiento reconstructivo de la piel vecina al sitio.
La operación se llevará a cabo a mediados del mes de Agosto del año en curso (2021). Conociendo la situación en Venezuela, es muy complicado ahorrar los fondos necesarios para esta operación, que está en US$. Por eso acudimos a la ayuda de todos aquellos que puedan colaborar.
Para estas intervenciones, se requieren recursos económicos y es por ello que apelamos a nuestros familiares, amigos, conocidos y personas de buena voluntad. Con estos aportes conseguiremos darle a Lulu una calidad de vida más tranquila en sus años restantes.
Los fondos serán utilizados para cubrir: gastos de clínica/quirófano, honorarios profesionales, gastos médicos postoperatorios e insumos médicos.

Ignacia Lidvina Piñerúa, who we affectionately call "Lulu", is a 98-year-old Venezuelan, always taking care of her health, active, very lucid and watching over our well-being, her family and loved ones. Still, this time she needs our help.
She currently has an Epidermoid Carcinoma of approximately 2 inches, on the left side of the neck below and behind the ear very close to the cervical, which must be treated as soon as possible due to the high risk that it represents of continuing to grow for a person of her age.
With the diagnosis of the biopsy, due to the size of the lesion, a wide oncological incision and a reconstructive procedure of skin neighboring the site should be made.
The operation will take place in mid-August of the current year (2021). Knowing the situation in Venezuela, it is very difficult to acquire the funds necessary for this operation, which is in $US. That is why we seek for help from all those who can collaborate.
For these interventions, financial resources are required and that is why we appeal to our family, friends, acquaintances and people of good will. With these contributions we will be able to give Lulu a calmer quality of life in her remaining years.
The funds will be used to cover: clinic / sugery expenses, professional fees, postoperative medical expenses and medical supplies.
