My name is Lora, and I live in Melbourne, Victoria. I'm raising funds for my little boy, Lucas.

Lucas is a Cavoodle, and he's 1 year old.

To me, he's not just a dog — he's my shadow, my comfort, and my baby son.

A few days ago, Lucas suddenly couldn't jump up on the couch like usual and started crying in pain.

I rushed him to the vet, and after examination, the vet gave me the news no pet owner wants to hear: Lucas needs urgent surgery.

Without it, he may never walk properly again — or worse, he could be in permanent pain.

The surgery is quoted at $4,000 AUD, and that doesn't include the physiotherapy he'll need afterward to fully recover.

Lucas can't wait — and I can't bear to see him suffer. I’m doing everything I can, but I can't afford this alone right now.

Asking for money is hard, but for Lucas, I'd do anything.

Where the money will go

· $4,000 – Directly to RSPCA Vet Clinic for Lucas's surgery

· Any extra funds – Will go toward his post-op physiotherapy and rehabilitation

If there's anything left over (which I don't expect), I'll donate it to a local animal rescue to help another pet in need.
