A few weeks ago, we got the devastating news that my sister's dog, Lulu, has nasal cancer. She has a tumor that is affecting her breathing and comfort, and the specialist recommended stereotactic radiation—a treatment that could give her more time with a good quality of life. We want to give her every possible chance, but cancer treatment for pets is extremely expensive, and the costs have quickly become overwhelming. Lulu now needs follow-up visits, radiation, imaging, supportive care, and a special diet to keep her comfortable.

Lulu isn’t just a dog to us, she’s family. She’s been with us through so many chapters of life, and the thought of losing her so soon is unbearable. She gives the sweetest little nose-bops when she greets you, she’s spunky and full of personality, and she loves fiercely. She’s brought so much joy to our lives, and her cheeks truly smell like roses—it’s her signature scent.
