Hi my name is Lula! I'm a 5 year old Boston Terrier. I have given my mom and dad quite the interesting life and have recently been diagnosed with IVDD. A spine disease in dogs that causes severe pain and can lead to paralysis. It came on suddenly as one day my mom noticed I was shaking in pain, then my Dad tried to pick me up and I screamed out in pain. I've got good days and bad days. Some days I feel like a young pup again and am able to play, while others I can't move from the pain and stay in bed all day. My parents took me to the neurologist and they want to put me to sleep to do a $4k MRI to see if I'm a surgical candidate. If I am that surgery is another $6-8k my parents have to find the funds for. I'm still young little girl and want to be able to play with my sister Boston terrier and my new 4month old human brother!! Please help my parents pay for my vet care so I can run again!
