Hello I'm Sandra, from Belgium. I help Lukwago to raise funds for his orphanage. Uganda is a poor country with many orphanages and some of them are fake but Lukwago's is authentic. Being an orphan himself it's his life's mission to help 54 children attain a better future. But it's not easy and he needs some support to make the project self sufficient. Here is his story:

My name is Lukwago, and I am the Director of Lukwago Kids Foundation, an orphanage located in Uganda, Africa. I’m reaching out to you both as a fellow human being and as someone deeply committed to the welfare of vulnerable children.

At our foundation, we care for 52 orphaned children who have lost their families and face difficult circumstances. We strive every day to provide them with the basic necessities of life, including food, shelter, medical care, clean water, electricity, and other needs.

This mission is very personal to me—I, too, was orphaned at a young age, and I experienced firsthand the pain and hardship of growing up without support. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to ensuring that other children do not have to walk the same difficult path alone.

Every day, we do our best not only to care for these children but to give them hope, love, and the tools they need to grow into strong, educated, and compassionate members of society. At times, the challenges feel overwhelming, but through faith and resilience, we continue forward.
