On the 9/02/2025 our twin pregnancy (18 weeks +6 days) Clare’s waters broke suddenly. We have been admitted to Taree hospital via arrival by ambulance and the result was confirmed and 1cm dilated.

Since then we have experienced the natural result of a bleed and fluid loss for our beautiful little twin A, however at this stage both twins still have heartbeats and have managed to not arrive earth side yet. Clare is on antibiotics to prevent any infections with waters breaking and our babies becoming partly exposed to the world, and just taking everything hour by hour.

Everything can change in the blink of an eye just like we’ve experienced in the last few days alone.

This emergency has put Clare on bed rest and unable to work until the babies arrive and beyond due to their care and potential health concerns that can happen with arriving far too early.. John Hunter Hospital can take us from 23/24 weeks if we make it that far.

Our case is extremely rare and we are not people to ask for money but in our situation given we are both potentially unable to work for a while in to the near future we are asking people to help if they can to ease the pressures of drs costs, rent and other general living bills..
