Help Luke with University Relief Fund

Fundraiser profile photo is a photograph Luke has personally taken living in Myanmar. At the moment, he is unable to post his own photo revealing his face due to privacy/security reasons. Also, due to Gofundme being blocked in his home country, he has sent me the summary below for me, his campaign organizer, to post on his behalf:
UNIVERSITY RELIEF FUND.
Many in Myanmar are suffering due to the country’s economic fallout and civil unrest. There are less and less economic opportunities as prices increase and the currency devalues. Help a student in Myanmar with university funds!
BESIEGED BY DARKNESS.
February 1st brought a terrible tragedy for Myanmar and sent the entire country into utter peril.
Prior to the recent civil unrest, Myanmar was still recovering from COVID-19 but the new occurrences have buried the futures of many Myanmar students, including my own. It is unclear when all of it will come to an end.
I am Luke, a high school graduate who had planned to attend university before the pandemic and this catastrophe. During 2019 and 2020, COVID-19 forced me to take two gap years, but I was still able to study and dream of a better future then. But that was then and this is now. Every day, the internet is threatened and fear mounts. As Myanmar becomes more isolated from the rest of the world in this new age of total darkness and the threat of all-out civil conflict increases each day, I am determined to chase my future before it becomes impossible to.
Fortunately, I have been given an offer letter into International University of Malay-Wales for their May 2021 intake, with a 25% fee waiver. I am also awaiting responses from a couple more universities in the ASEAN region, which I am more than eager about. The only obstacle standing in my way, is my lack of funds.
I relied on my parents for financial support in the past but since the pandemic, their jobs in the travel and tourism industry have completely sunk, and the current events in Myanmar offer no glimmer of hope for its once blooming tourism industry. These last two years have been a battle to make ends meet. My parents are also trying for loans, although that has been near impossible as a result of the country being on the verge of economic collapse. And because I will be an international student, I’m ineligible for a lot of financial aid options that most universities offer.
However, I am ambitious to not let situations outside my control stop me from pursuing the opportunities I currently have, hence this fundraiser. I have plans to sell prints of my photography, something I dabble in as a hobby, but as that will take time and luck, my friends from abroad recommended this campaign as a worthwhile option.
I have always been too ashamed and guilty to ask for help, but now is the time to swallow the embarrassment and piece my future together in whatever way I can. Education is the wind that comes out of nowhere to fill your sails and take you somewhere brighter, right?
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
$2800 – Tuition Fees.
$1800 – Dormitory.
$2000 – Living Expenses.
$650 – Visa Processing Fees.
$50 – Airfare.
$220 - 2.9% Gofundme fees + debit/credit transaction fees
Total: $7520 USD
This will be enough to support me for a year, during which I can get part-time jobs and save up.

DEADLINES?
May 12th 2021 and beyond because most semesters start after that, but I'm hoping for an extension.
Note: All funds will be collected by a trusted friend in the States who is also organizing this fundraiser out of the pure kindness of her heart. She can transfer it to me once I have enough to enroll at my preferred university outside of the country. Any unused/excess funds will be distributed to charities that support other causes and needs in Myanmar.
Thank you to anyone who donates, and thank you to all of my friends who expressed an interest in contributing; without you, I never would have had the confidence to do this. Please feel free to donate whatever amount you want because anything will make a change, create a ripple, and pave a way.
