Help Luke & Family with Medical Costs

Two years ago Luke was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. He's spent more time in hospitals than in school and my parents have spent more nights sleeping in hospital chairs than in beds. Until April of this year, doctors have tried every medication and treatment for this disease to minimal relief.

Last month my parents and Luke decided to head down to the Cleveland Clinic in South Florida for surgery to help alleviate some of his constant pain. On April 17th Luke had a portion of his colon removed in the first of three surgeries. He is recovering well with an ostomy bag and will have two additional surgeries in July and October. 

Luke is a 15 year old freshman at Mount Dora High School and is a pretty stellar student. He's kind and generous and loves to play basketball and football; both of which he hasn't been able to play at school in the last two years. These surgeries are an opportunity for him to lead a "normal," teenage life and re-enter school with his friends.  

That being said, my parents have racked up a hefty hospital bill, now exceeding $250,000. Any amount is helpful so they can get this looming debt dealt with and begin to heal together. Thank you in advance for all your help, it means a lot to our entire family. <3
