Hi everyone, I just wanted to start by saying thank you for taking the time to view this highly important matter to me:
My name is Gina, and I am Luke’s younger sister. As many of you do not know, my brother has suffered from epilepsy most of his life. Over the years, however, his medical condition had significantly got worse. In 2019, his doctors suggested brain surgery. On September 17th, Luke had his first surgery. Months went by and his seizures seemed to disappear. Regrettably, this was not the case. December 21st, 2020, Luke went in for his second brain surgery. This time, he was under the care of a new medical team. During this surgery, they managed to extract more of the conflicted area that was causing his seizures. Fast forward to the end of January, and Luke started to have seizures again. He was admitted to the hospital to find the origin of the problem; and the next steps for appropriate treatment. Unfortunately, Luke will now have to undergo his third brain surgery within a year and a half.
Luke is not one to ask for help, but the position he is in is out of his control. Luke and his wife Breann are facing an abundance of medical bills, including an immense deductible for this third surgery that they were not prepared for. If you can donate anything to help them get through this tough time, my family and I would deeply appreciate it. If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing this post to help spread the word!
Thank you to everyone who donates, shares, and reads this post. We truly appreciate it!
