My name is Amy Niederhauser Clayburn and I am trying to help my brother and sister-in-law, Luke & Sondra, with medical expenses and future funeral expenses. Sondra was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. After valiantly battling and beating that, she was cancer-free for about 1.5 years. Unfortunately, the cancer came back and spread to her bones and a spot on her brain. Last week, it was determined the cancer spread throughout her body and she is considered Stage 4. There are no more options left to treat her cancer. Sondra is the benefit holder and since going on disability in May 2025, they have been on COBRA insurance. It is extremely expensive and will not be sustainable for them to continue paying. We do not know how much longer Sondra will be around, but the medical expenses so far are astronomical. Sondra will begin home hospice tomorrow. They celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary earlier this month.
