Help Luke play football in America
Donation protected
Luke is 18 years old and has loved football since he took his very first steps. He's played for various teams throughout his childhood and for the last 2 years has attended Sunderland academy after getting a scholarship there.
He now has the opportunity to progress to play in America and has worked hard to earn his place there. It is a partial scholarship with Njcaa (national junior college athletic association) During his final trial with them they said he was "technically strong and naturally athletic showing more confidence as the game went on". With this being partial scholarship, it means he needs to find a substantial amount of money to keep him in food and accommodation while he is there. He went straight into his scholarship with sunderland from school so hasn't had the chance to build any savings as its unpaid and he has had little time to work. I'm hoping this go fund me page will give him the means to go and live his dream of progressing as a footballer (which clearly he has a talent for).
Being from the Northeast of England, these chances don't come along very often. It would really mean the world to him to be able to start this new chapter in his life. I really hope people will get behind this and help support him financially with his career choice. He is so grateful for any help he gets. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Looking forward to updating everyone on his journey.
