hiya!!

this is luke.

luke is a former combat medic, serving under the army. he is recovering from a leg injury (with which he was honorably discharged), which brings him pain that varies from manageable to severe/debilitating. 

luke has also been jobless since june of 2020, due to the unforseen closing of his former place of employment, the pandemic, and his immense struggles with finding a reliable form of transportation (also in part as a result of his leg injury).

he has been doing his due diligence to provide for himself to the best of his ability. unfortunately, a whole new slew of problems have befallen him: medical issues. he has been back and forth between hospitals and clinics for almost a year. doctors still haven't reached a diagnosis, but his symptoms (circulation problems, severe chest pain, breathing problems, limb numbness/weakness) point to something vascular.

luke is a wonderful person who is so much greater than the sum of his struggles. i, and many others, love him dearly and hate to see him continue to have to toil with something as simple as affording basic healthcare. and so, subsequently, a gofundme was made!

we are unsure of the total cost that he will garner from seeking treatment for the issues that he's facing, so we decided to cap it off at $2000. anything and everything helps and is greatly appreciated (including shares!).
