Hi, I’m Luke, and I’ve been trying to get top surgery for over ten years.

For me, top surgery isn’t just a double mastectomy that would relieve gender dysphoria, but it would also relieve some chronic pain I’ve dealt with for most of my life. It is also something that would greatly reduce my suicidality — it would erase certain difficulties I have with mobility and would allow me to, for example, wear a regular shirt in 90 degree Fahrenheit weather rather than an oversized hoodie.

Before I knew people like me are trans and learned about top surgery, the size of my chest caused so much discomfort and pain that I was begging for a breast reduction. Once I learned about top surgery, a whole new world opened up for me; one where I could be free.

Full Procedure: $16,330, includes time, anesthesia, factors in size and includes all follow-up appointment costs.

~$1,000 for lodging in the state I’ll be receiving surgery

the rest of the goal is to attempt to account for fees and unforeseen costs.
