Help Luka Recover from FFS!

This fundraiser is led by me, Kayla Tange, on behalf of my dear friend + longtime collaborator Luka Fisher. Luka has been a strong creative force + support for many in LA LGBTQ community for years + I’m grateful to get this chance to give back to her. Let’s fund her recovery!

Luka will be receiving facial gender-affirming surgery on 8/2/2023. We are asking for support from her community + beyond to cover rent, utilities, food, and general expenses during her surgery + recovery time, estimated at ten weeks. We are also hoping to offset some of the surrounding surgical costs, like electrolysis. Any additional funds we raise will go towards medical expenses.

We are hoping to reach the goal of $11,250 by August 1st.

Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of what each donation will go towards: 

Rent (2.5 months): $3,300

Utilities: $1,000

Food: $1,500

Post-Surgery Supplies: $500

Phone + Electrolysis Bills: $750

Surgery Costs: $4,200

Donations greater than $200 will receive an original painting from Luka. Please provide a mailing address in the comments of your donation to receive your painting.
