Luka is an 8-month-old miniature dachshund. While playing, Luka unexpectedly fell to the ground and broke his femur (in his rear leg). This accident has affected Luka's growth plate, which will result in major physical impairments, such as limited mobility, difficulty walking and running, and paralysis of his leg.

In order to repair Luka's broken femur, he will need to undergo surgery, receiving pins and plates to stabilize the fracture and ensure proper healing of the bone. Unfortunately, we only have a 10 day window to get the surgery so any and all help is much appreciated!

We are fundraising money to assist in covering Luka's medical bills. Luka is less than 1 year old, and it is heartbreaking to watch this injury limit his mobility and dull his personality. He cannot even go to the bathroom on his own at this time so we want to get him back on all four as soon as possible. This surgery will allow Luka to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Please help us get our cuddly, playful, and curious puppy back again.
