Help Luka fight Neuroblastoma

On Thursday February 29th of 2024, our sweet little Luka was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer with less than 800 cases per year nationwide. Treatment plan for his stage is about 18 months without complications. 

We were originally afraid of a potential back injury while playing with Dad that led to us to push for him to get an MRI done. Once the images were back, we received the devastating news that he was showing lesions from a cancerous tumor that had reached his spine, which was causing his pain, back stiffness, and inability to walk. A CT scan and biopsies followed, which confirmed the diagnosis.

Everything has been moving so fast since then so we have not had the chance give the bad news to all who love little Luka. As we create this page, we are happy to at least say that his central line was placed and chemo treatment started on 3/7/2024.

We hope to continue to provide updates and milestones through here for all the people that would love to know how he is doing. 

We are not sure what the costs will be like for his treatment, but I know lots of loved ones would like to show support. We thank everyone in advance for the love and prayers that Luka has gotten already, and we want to let you all know that we will continue to fight and have hope for the best outcome. 

Our main goal for this fundraiser is to cover unexpected costs of treatment that our insurance might not help with, to raise awareness on childhood cancer, and to help other similar causes once Luka gets through this.
