Help Luk, Puteri & Maya rebuild after house fire

On the 8th of April, during the first week of Ramadan; Lukman and Puteri’s family home suffered extensive damage from a house fire - leaving the family without a home just weeks shy of the birth of their new baby daughter.

 

Alhamdullilah nobody was hurt, and they were fortunate to escape the fire unscathed.

 

Lukman and Puteri’s home has been passed through generations in the family. It is where he and his siblings were raised, and their own baby girl Maya. It is also a haven for the Muslim community, serving as an open home for many to share in love and prayer.

 

The cost will be considerable, and living in the home is no longer viable. The house is also not insured, and the brunt of the costs will lay on the family to gather.

 

As Lukman and Puteri prepare for the birth of their second daughter, they also now brace for the substantial costs of rebuilding their home. Also leaving them without secure housing leading up to the birth of their daughter.
