Hi everyone,

My name is Kelsey, and I’m raising funds for my mom, Luisa. She’s been courageously battling stage 4 metastatic cancer since 2023. After undergoing life-changing surgery to remove her stomach, she’s had to relearn how to nourish her body and stay strong, all while enduring ongoing chemotherapy.

Recently, things have become even more difficult. She hasn’t been able to work due to treatment and severe fatigue. Getting to doctor’s appointments, keeping up with rent, and affording everyday essentials like groceries and gas has become overwhelming. Right now, my biggest fear is that she could lose her home while still undergoing chemo.

My mom has always been the kind of person who gives to others before herself. Even now, she continues to create handmade macrame and crafts, pouring her heart into each piece. She’s been trying to sell them when she feels well enough - it’s one of the few things that brings her joy and a sense of purpose during this time.
