Help Luis Secure Housing

Dear community members, I am writing this on behalf of my longtime friend Luis Garcia.

As a person who has known Luis for almost 2 decades, I have been witness to his struggles to maintain secure housing despite being a hard worker and maintaining regular jobs in the city he calls home. As we are all too familiar with the hyper gentrification that has happened in San Francisco, it leaves real and loving people like Luis at risk of being homeless.

As someone who is no stranger to struggle, Luis is having an especially difficult time right now. His recent living situation fell through and he is at extreme risk of being without housing. Luis is in need of financial support, but is also open to any housing leads, rooms for rent or job opportunities.

If you know Luis, you know that he has a heart of gold and loves bringing the community together with the famous Baseball games he has helped facilitate and grow over many years. He has shined a lot of love into all of our lives and right now he could really use some love from from the community he has poured into.

I am aware that times are super hard for most of us, not to mention the world as a whole . It is with great faith in our community and extended networks and deep gratitude for ya'll that I ask you to consider donating to Luis while he navigates this emotionally treacherous time. A donation to this fund will go towards securing housing for Luis and all expenses related. But even more than that, it will help lift one of our beloved brothers up in a time that he could use it most.
