Donate to Luis Malik's Biking Accident Recovery

My beloved partner Luis Malik was hit by a car while biking in Palmdale, CA on the evening of Feb 25th. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment for life threatening injuries.

At this time we are unsure about everything he will need and require in this long, difficult treatment and rehabilitation process with so many unknowns ahead of us.

Anyone who has met Luis Malik knows he is a pillar of his community. Bringing books, water, free bike repairs, and hygiene supplies to the park almost every single weekend since 2020, paid for out of his own pocket. Luis Malik is truly the most loving, caring, brilliant person I have ever met, and it is not an exaggeration to say that he prioritizes community care with every single decision he makes.

I want to do everything we can to make his recovery as full as possible so he can get back to doing what he loves: uplifting the people, plants, and animals of the Mojave desert, hiking amongst the joshua trees, sending sunset pictures to all his friends, and helping make this a better world.
