Luis is my best friend, and right now he’s facing one of the hardest challenges of his life. After being deported, he’s in Mexico and recently found out he has a large, infected tumor on his right knee. The doctors there have told him that the infection is so severe, they need to remove his leg. It’s a devastating situation, and being far from home makes it even harder for him to get the care he needs.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover the costs of Luis’s medical care. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his treatment, medicine, and, if possible, a prosthetic leg so he can regain some independence and hope for the future. Luis is strong, but he can’t face this alone.
