Help for a hardworking friend

Luis is raising funds for a close friend who lives alone in the Dominican Republic. He is a single, hardworking man who has always done his best to take care of himself, but right now he is facing a painful and difficult situation. He was diagnosed with kidney stones and now needs surgery, along with support for the recovery period that follows. Although he has some money saved, it is not enough to cover the full cost of surgery, recovery, and the medical bills that come with this unexpected health issue.
