Luis is a loving father of seven children who is currently fighting a very aggressive form of terminal cancer that has spread throughout his body. He began experiencing severe pain in his back and hips, and after seeking medical help, he received the devastating diagnosis that the cancer had already spread. Since then, Luis has undergone two spinal surgeries and continues to endure constant and unbearable pain. Some days are extremely difficult, and his condition continues to decline. Luis does not have health insurance and has no financial support. His wife is doing everything she can to care for him and their seven children on her own. She works very hard, but what little she is able to earn is not enough to cover medications, food, rent, and basic bills. Their children are still young and depend completely on their parents, making this situation even more difficult and heartbreaking for the entire family.
