Help Luis fight against metastatic Ewing’s sarcoma

On behalf of my sister, Crystal and nephew, Luis.

Luis has been battling Metastatic Ewings Sarcoma, a cancer that most often occurs in and around the bones. He was first diagnosed in August of 2018 where they were informed that the cancer was in his left femur, top of his spine, seventh rib and in his lungs. After undergoing a limb salvage of his left femur along with chemotherapy and radiation Luis went into remission. Everything was looking good and he even rang the bell. Months later at a follow up they were informed that the cancer had returned again. This time it came back in his left knee and his spine. Another 12 rounds of chemotherapy and final scans came out clear and went back into remission. Going back for followup we were sure he was in the clear, scans once again were showing the cancer had returned. This time they were informed the cancer returned in his knee and in his lungs,also informing them that there is no longer any treatment available to cure his cancer. Reaching out to other hospitals and asking for second options only to be told time after time his cancer has progressed and they to have no options for him. Luis has now been placed on end of life care and has started hospice services. Due to his cancer progressing and being placed on hospice services my sister has had no choice but to leave her job to spend this time with Luis and siblings, making memories,celebrating milestones and make Luis happy. It has been tough as a single parent and sole provider for this family. I am asking for help raising money to be used to make those memories, assist with medical bills, utilities and help with more difficult unavoidable decisions they know are coming.
