Help Luis Adrian Mendoza’s Family Lay Him to Rest

After putting up a strong fight over the last few days, Luis Adrian Mendoza unfortunately has left us far too soon. He was a loving brother, son, cousin and friend among other things. He was always there for his loved ones, no matter the time or place. To put it simply, if you needed him, he was there - with his fresh flannel, converse and black jeans, the classic Luis outfit. You can ask anyone that knew him even in the slightest and they will be able to tell you a good memory about him because he simply always radiated his positivity and good nature.
He had dreams of being a journalist or working with a radio station one day and there’s no doubt that he would have reached that goal one day. He loved everything from comics to video games to enjoying live music concerts. Luis’ love for his favorite football teams was also well known as he rooted for the Oregon Ducks and his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. He wouldn’t hesitate to make sure you got their chant right “Fly, eagles fly!” And if it wasn’t football season, then it was time for him to pull out his Los Angeles Angels jersey and begin hating on those boys in blue across town.
Luis absolutely loved his family but the bond he had with his mom was like no other. He was her number one and he was her baby. Any time he felt down and needed that special type of comfort that only a mom can give, he would be by her side until he felt better. There is no doubt that she was on his mind during his last few moments here with us in the world, and even then, he more than likely was more so worried about her and her well-being above his own. His presence will always be with her.
Everyone he met will always have great memories of him and he deserves the best so its only right that we help support his family so they can lay him to rest. All proceeds will be going towards funeral and medical expenses and to help his family during any challenges that come their way during this difficult time.
Ivan Lopez, Luis Adrian’s brother and my good friend, is added as the beneficiary of all the donations so he can use them to cover the cost of the funeral and church services, and hospital/medical bills.
