Help Lugnut on her journey to run again.

Hello! My name is Lugnut. You might have met me, I'm Mr. Z's dog. I like to come to class at the end of the semester and visit the students. At home I love to play fetch down the long hallway and run along the fence to visit the neighborhood kids.
Unfortunately this summer I had a bad accident where I was startled by a loud noise and flopped myself off of the recliner like an orangutan swinging through the trees, only with less trees and more floor. It hurt and the vet says I messed up my spine pretty good.
So now I can't fetch or run along the fence anymore. Heck even walking down the hall looks more like an army crawl these days.
But my dad found a place called Eddie's Wheels that makes cool custom fit dog carts (like a wheelchair!) and I really want one so I can run and visit with all the kids again! I think I'd look pretty good with some wheels, and I have lots of energy so rolling them around would be a piece of cake!
Anyway, my dad would like to get some wheels for me too, but since they have to be hand made to my (stellar) body measurements they aren't the cheapest. Please if you would consider donating a buck or two to help him out, I'm sure he'd really appreciate it.
Thanks a bunch! ~ Lugs
From Mr and Mrs Zeltner:
We've measured Lugs and contacted Eddies Wheels as her muscly front end and skinny behind don't match up well with the two commercial dog carts that are on the market. She also has some previous issues with her neck that mean we don't want to add too much pressure there, and Eddie's makes a neutral balance rear wheel cart that puts much less to no weight on her neck.
Eddie's Wheels has quoted us at $600 for the cart, $45 for the straps to elevate Lugs back legs so they don't drag as she has no feeling in them and so stands on her knuckles by accident a lot, and $50 for shipping. We really feel this is the best option for her as we have managed her spine conservatively, she is a bit old for surgery being a short nosed breed, but not so old that she doesn't have a lot of spunk and life left. Outside of her recent onset of back problems she has a clean bill of health from her vet and we expect she would get several good years of use out of a cart. Any and all help is much appreciated!
