Topaz is Lucy’s heart horse. She has loved him from the moment she met him. No other horse has been so connected with Lucy as Topaz is. Unfortunately, only at age 7, he started to show small signs of what looks to be now large signs, at age 11, of severe problems in his stomach area. Topaz has never done Lucy wrong. Just a couple weeks before his health had gone downhill, he and Lucy won 1st in the 2D of what looks to possibly be Lucy and Topaz’s last barrel race together. When they first started barrel racing back in 2020, Topaz won Lucy her first ever buckle in Las Vegas. Topaz has so much heart, everyone that knows him loves him and his personality. We hope to not lose him this soon. Please help us raise money to help keep Topaz in good spirits for a little while longer.
