Many of you know our sweet rescue dog, Lucy. Shortly before we adopted her, she was in a house fire that not only took the lives of her four humans but left her with severe burns and a burned tail, which required amputation. It took over a year for her wounds to finally heal. Now that she's all better and getting ready to start the rest of her life as a carefree pup, Lucy suffered an injury while doing one of her favorite things—running at the speed of light in the backyard.

After rest didn't help her heal up, we took her to the vet, where it was confirmed that she has a torn ACL, and surgery is required to repair it. Unfortunately, we had a vehicle go down recently and are currently in the offseason of my lawn care business. This makes finding thousands of dollars for her surgery nearly impossible right now, and it's breaking our hearts to watch her limp around and not be able to live life normally. We're asking for help with covering her multiple vet visits, expensive surgery, and her medications afterward. Lucy and the rest of our family would greatly appreciate any financial help you can provide!
