Today was supposed to be a routine spay surgery for our beloved dog, Lucy. What we never expected was for it to turn into a life-threatening emergency. During the procedure, Lucy suffered major complications and could not stop bleeding. She was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital, where she has been fighting for her life ever since. Despite intensive care, including blood transfusions and plasma, the veterinary team is still struggling to control the bleeding. They are doing everything they can, but they have warned us that emergency surgery may be the next step if her condition does not stabilize.
So far, we have already paid a significant amount for emergency care, and if surgery becomes necessary, the cost will be even higher. These expenses are overwhelming, but walking away is not an option for us — Lucy is our family. She is a loving, loyal, and gentle soul who brings so much joy to everyone who meets her. Watching her fight through this has been heartbreaking, and we are doing everything in our power to give her a chance to recover.
We are asking for help to cover the cost of her emergency treatment and possible surgery. Any amount — no matter how small — will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much to us.
