Help Lucy & Lucy's Toys

Lucy has been creating her own patterns and hand making plush toys, puppets, and blankets for 58 years. On May 27th tragedy stuck when her business burned down. While we are thankful no one was injured, the shop was a complete loss. Everything needed to make our precious toys and puppets: the sewing machines, stuffing machine and stuffing, all the eyes, thread, scissors, .... everything. The shop also had a large storage area for all our finished creations. Since we make most of our stock the first half of the year and sell it in the summer and fall seasons, all the shelves were totally full of puppets, toys, and blankets. Gone.

Thankfully our patterns and faux fur are in a second building and were not damaged. We also have one older sewing machine, so we can make blankets. Of course Lucy wants to continue doing what she loves and making all our creations. If you know Lucy, she will outwork and probably outlast us all.
