Help Lucy Rebuild After Fire and currently Battling Cancer
Donation protected
Please help Lucy and her son who have faced unimaginable challenges. Their home was lost in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which resulted in a devastating electrical fire. To add to their difficulties, Lucy was diagnosed with Cancer and requires a critical surgery to remove metastatic cancer on her face. As if this wasn't enough, they find themselves homeless, with no place to call their own. They urgently need financial assistance during this tumultuous time and support to repair their home, as FEMA has unfortunately denied their claims for the necessary repairs despite all the required documentation being submitted. Although there have been promises of aid, they are still waiting with no favorable outcome after 8 months. This situation has left Lucy and her son grappling with uncertainty and fear. Her surgery is scheduled for July 9, and the financial strain is relentless. Their current safe accommodation is only guaranteed until June 21, and they may be forced back to shelter in their car with their beloved dogs and service dog unless they receive the essential support they're seeking. Your donation, no matter the amount, would make an immense difference in their lives during this trying time. Your generosity will help alleviate the weight of financial burdens, giving Lucy hope and security as she battles this terrible disease and strives for recovery. Even if you're unable to donate, please consider sharing their story. Your thoughts and prayers are also greatly appreciated as Lucy and her son navigate this challenging journey, hoping for relief from the accumulating medical bills and the strength to overcome these adversities. Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for considering how you can make a positive impact in their lives.
