Help Lucy Overcome Her Battle with IMHA
Donation protected

Lucy was diagnosed with a very serious disease in dogs, IMHA on Friday, June 21st. This is a very sudden disease where her body suddenly attacks her red blood cells and causes her to go into an anemic state. When she went into the ER on Friday her red blood cell count was at 15%. After a blood transfusion, an IV, and tons of medications she was able to get up to 20% but has since dropped to 19% after another ER visit. This disease requires testing every week until it stabilizes and allows her body to return to a normal red blood cell count. It’s a very expensive treatment until her body can recover and the bills are stacking up. I’ve already put $3,200 in and now I don’t have much left to continue at the ER. I just want to be able to give her the full treatment and care she needs because there is more and more to come. With all of the tragedy that’s happened in the last few years for me, things are so tight to take care of her. I just want my Lucy back. Anything helps at this point. Thanks for reading and thank you in advance.
