Help Lucy "LuLu" with a Kidney Transplant

Hello, my name is Shane,

I am raising this fundraiser knowing it won't raise enough, but I'm just doing EVERYTHING in my possible being (desperation mode) to help my Lucy live a longer life. I want to say I rescued Lucy off the streets as a stray about 6 years ago, but truly, she rescued me. She literally saved my life, I was in the worst state of my life mentally, wanting to end it all. She saved me and now I want to save her, even though I'll never be able too like she saved me. She is approximately 6 or 7 years old, with plenty of life to live, I hope.

Lucy, is currently in the ER for the next 2 or 3 days and we're hoping she makes it through that. (Her 3rd emergency room in 4 days) she has chronic kidney disease and we will not know her life expectancy (which is sounding like a month or if we're lucky a year), but we will not know more if anything in a few weeks if she hangs on and I want to start raising funds now. She could live another 6 years (about double her life with a transplant). We have covered the thousands of dollars it has already cost us going to Emergency Rooms and tests, and I would keep going if we had the funds... (we're buying a house too and a big part was a bay window we kept saying Lucy, will absolutely love). So, I'm desperately only trying to raise for a potential kindey transplant, not what we have already have covered.

I am NOT looking for the thousands we have spent already, I am not even sure if a kidney transplant is even possible at this time, but I'm trying everything to be proactive and start early to raise what a typical kidney transplant costs to save her, as she means more to me than anyone can fathom. I know she may not even qualify or she may even be gone from us before a potential transplant can be set up.

I know money can be scarce to come by, and I'm the last person to ever ask for money. But, if somehow, someway my Lucy does not make it or she cannot get a kidney transplant even with the funds. I will donate 100% of the funds to a non profit animal charity without keeping any of it for myself and I will show proof if that is the case, but I'm hoping I can show all the supporters pictures of my Lucy after the transplant.
